AH 3000 BT7 Rally 1959 (SOLD)

This Austin Healey 3000 BT7 was delivered 19-10-1959 in USA.

In 1995, imported from USA and has since then driven many miles on European roads.

The history of the Healey is well known incl. receipt's  from the engine overhaul and modifications on the drive train.

The Healey body is in original condition and converted in rally trim

Chassis number HBT7 L 4695 .

Truly a fantastic driver's car!

The car was converted by us to a real rally car and the engine has been rebuilt by Peter van Giersbergen with more power. Also on this occasion the engine has been equipped with an aluminum cylinder head, gearbox and overdrive revised/rebuilt by Frits von Munching,  The car features a new wiring harness, 3 carb's SU and a disk brake conversion performed with a dual circuit brake system equipped with new alloy wheels with nw. Avon tires, Halda Twin Master, etc. etc. No effort has been spared to create a perfect drivers/rally-car of this Healey.

Meanwhile, France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Scotland have been successfully visited and the car received in the past years an technical update, and is now in top condition.
